Connor Goldson has revealed some of the thoughts of the Rangers squad after the recent win over Celtic, as quoted by the Daily Record.
The Gers defeated their arch rivals 2-0 on home turf, thanks to goals from James Tavernier and the excellent Scott Arfield.

It’s the second time this season that Gerrard’s side has emerged victorious from an Old Firm. Unsurprisingly, the atmosphere was raucous both during and after the game.
We know how much the fans are craving it (silverware),” said Goldson, as quoted by the Daily Record. “You look at last Sunday, the Old Firm win and the fans cheering afterwards.”

“We actually said to each other after the game, ‘Can you imagine what it would be like if we do actually win something? Imagine what the fans would be like then.’
“So that’s our next aim. We know, as a team, what it would mean to do that. We’ve all thought about it. We won’t fully know what it means until we’ve done it but the boys who have been here will drive the changing room
forward to compete.”

It’s great to hear that leaders in the squad, like Goldson, aren’t resting on their laurels.
Under Gerrard, there’s a sense of a continuous need to push on and improve.
Hopefully, next season, that will translate into major silverware. After some dark times over the last decade, it’s long overdue.
