Reports suggest Glen Kamara’s move to Rangers is close to being finalised.
The 7-cap Finland international signed a pre-contract agreement with the club back on 5th January.

It ensured he would become a Ger at the end of the season, when his current contract at Dundee expires.
However, since then, rumours have suggested that he could make the switch earlier.

Initially, it was assumed that Dundee wanted money for Kamara, while they could still get it. Money that would be immediately reinvested in their attempts to avoid relegation.

Yet, it’s now clear that a swap deal is the preferred option.
It’s reported that attempts to bring Ross McCrorie and Ryan Hardie to Dens Park, have been unsuccessful.

Now, though, it looks like a deal is close.
According to a report in the Evening Times, Kamara will miss Dundee’s Cup fixture against Queen of the South, today.
That’s a precaution to ensure he doesn’t become cup tied ahead of the move.
The report also claims Rangers would have performed a similar courtesy, had their match against Cowdenbeath went ahead last night.

Based on Steven Gerrard’s press conference, Jordan Rossiter could be the most likely man to go the other way.
This one has dragged out for some time, but with the SPL returning next week, it looks as though both clubs are keen to finally get a swap deal over the line.
