Simply the Best Rangers boss Steven Gerrard said in the aftermath of the club’s title celebrations that the Ibrox side have thoroughly found a way into his heart [Sky Sports].
A Liverpool fan through and through, the Gers gaffer exclaimed that he never thought such a thing possible prior to taking the reins at Ibrox.
And as the Gers boss enjoyed some downtime after a long-old season that ended in a legendary title success, this became ever clearer.
Enjoying a meal and a pint with friends including technical coach Tom Culshaw, Gerrard was seemingly ambushed by adoring Gers fans who unfurled a flag and pressed play on a club anthem.
Gerrard proved he was Simply the Best by joining in with the adoring Rangers supporters who were quite clearly still in party mood from last weekend.
The Ibrox Gaffer was videoed fist bumping along with the Rangers anthem and this is something which didn’t go unnoticed by the Gers faithful:

The Gers were crowned Champions of Scotland by a margin of 25 points, going the season unbeaten, reaching 102 points (the club’s highest-ever total), conceding the fewest goals in a British league season (13) and setting a new Scottish Premiership clean sheet record (26).
Rangers boss Gerrard has now cemented himself in Scottish and Rangers footballing history and he might not be done just yet.
The Ibrox gaffer has been clear that he hopes the club’s 55th title win is the first of many which he celebrates at Rangers.
