Steven Gerrard has hailed one of his January signings, during an interview with RangersTV, following the win over Celtic.
The Gers ran out 2-0 winners at Ibrox, courtesy of goals from James Tavernier and Scott Arfield.

However, Glen Kamara was also excellent in midfield and earned rave reviews from the fans.
Clearly, his display wasn’t lost on his manager, either.
“We’ve added some quality players and that quality is in good form”, said Gerrard, in a RangersTV interview.
“Defoe is in good form, Davis is in excellent form.
“Glen Kamara [extended pause], how we got him I don’t know. But anyway, cut a long story short and we’ve added quality and we’ve evolved with the players we’ve already got, so we’re a better team now.”
Gerrard was almost lost for words at the thought of the Finnish international after this latest showing.

It’s likely he’s referring to the extraordinarily low transfer fee the club paid for his services. It cost a reported £50k to bring him to Ibrox from Dundee back in January [Daily Record] and he’s slotted in seamlessly.
Stevie G knows a quality midfield operator when he sees one, and clearly, he’s extremely impressed by the 23-year-old.
He’s composed on the ball, reads the game well and looked unflappable on the big stage today.
Let’s hope he keeps getting better and better heading into next season, where silverware is on the agenda.
