Furious Rangers fans launched a strongly-worded protest aimed at the club’s hierarchy during the club’s 2-1 victory over St Mirren.
Mohamed Diomande and Vaclav Cerny were the heroes for Rangers as they eked out the victory against a spirited St Mirren team at Ibrox.
But the match was interrupted by rounds of applause as the Union Bears section in the Copland Road stand unfurled a series of banners aimed at those running the Gers.

Furious Rangers fans launch Ibrox protest
Rangers continue through a period of substantial upheaval on and off the pitch, with interim chairman John Gilligan on the hunt for as many as four new executives.
A number of the club’s executive team have moved on recent months with Rangers also rebuilding a lacklustre squad after years of domestic disappointment.
Slashing the wage bill by as much as £10m in the process, Rangers fans are expecting more from a team and club increasingly unrecognisable from the high standards of the Ibrox legions.
As a result the Rangers fans launched a stirring protest at Ibrox which earned the applause of agreeable Ibrox supporters.
The first banner, aimed at the Rangers board, has called for change and insists the current hierarchy’s shortcomings are ‘destroying the club’.
It reads: “YOUR INEPTITUDE IS DESTROYING OUR CLUB. TIME FOR FANS TO FORCE CHANGE”
The Gers support would then unfurl a second banner, this time aimed at the club’s tight-fisted behaviour in the seasons since winning 55.
Rangers’ apprehension in the transfer market post-55 allowed Celtic to regain a domestic foothold and has eventually cost the Gers millions as a result.
The banner reads: “WORRYING ABOUT THOUSANDS WHILST WASTING MILLIONS”
Philippe Clement admits side can ‘do better’
As Rangers got over the line against St Mirren, the performance was a big worry for supporters who are increasingly frustrated by what they’re seeing on the pitch.
Whilst at this stage three points is all that matters, the club’s fans are growing tired of seeing turgid displays and want to see more from their team domestically.
Speaking about the performance after the match, Philippe Clement admitted his side have got to do better.
“That we can do better, that there were good things, there were moments that it was too slow, too sloppy,” said Clement when asked how he viewed his team’s performance.
“We started today with seven players who are new this season here at Rangers. We’re now almost end of October. Some are not even two months in the building.
“So step by step we try to integrate them in the squads, and like this to get them used to their teammates, to the club, to the expectations on and off the field. So that’s a work in progress.
“And the second half was for me much better, with more urgency, more quality also on the ball, and a higher tempo and better chances.”
