Former Rangers midfielder Jamie Ness has signed a contract with newly relegated Dundee as he makes a return to Scotland.
The Rangers Academy graduate joins the Dens Park club after leaving League One outfit Plymouth Argyle.
Now 28 years old, Ness has signed a two-year deal with Dundee as they look to bounce back after a disappointing campaign last year.

Jamie Ness is perhaps best known amongst Rangers fans for scoring an absolute worldie against Celtic in the opening minutes of a Scottish Cup tie against Celtic at Ibrox in 2011.
Following the club’s financial collapse in 2012, Ness moved on to Stoke City, but he only ever played one game for the Potters in three years.
Loan spells followed at Leyton Orient and Crewe Alexandra before Ness made a permanent move to Scunthorpe.
Ness spent two seasons at Glanford Park before moving on to Plymouth Argyle.

Dundee will be hoping the former Rangers midfielder can guide them to promotion back to Scotland’s top tier at the first time of asking.
