Expensive Rangers managerial flop Pedro Caixinha is set to be offered his fourth job since leaving Ibrox as he moves to Argentina and Talleres de Cordoba.
That’s according to TyC Sports, who are reporting the 51-year-old manager is set to complete a move to the Argentinian Premier League club.

This comes after spells in Mexico with Cruz Azul – with whom he won the Copa MX in 2018 – and former side Santos Laguna, as well as a stint in Saudi Arabia with Al-Shabab.
Pedro Caixinha will also have his work cut out for him at Talleres de Cordoba, who find themselves bottom three of their section after seven games.
But the Portuguese boss will be coming into a side on the back of a win after Talleres managed to pip Godoy Cruz 2-1 in their latest league game.
The result hauled them off the bottom of their section and now ex-Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha will aim to get the club up the table.
Argentina will also be the eighth country Pedro has coached in, having been top boss at clubs in Portugal, Scotland, Qatar, Saudi and Mexico whilst he has been assistant in Greece and Romania.
Rangers flop Pedro Caixinha set for Talleres job
Pedro Caixinha’s time at Rangers was one of financial irresponsibility as the Portuguese coach spent big money and wages to bring in a series of players from in countries he’d previously managed.
These included the likes of Carlos Pena and Eduardo Herrera from Mexico, and Bruno Alves and Fabio Cardoso from Portugal, whilst Caixinha oversaw the club’s worst-ever European result v Progres Niederkorn.
The manager also did not understand the ways of the Scottish game and ex-Gers chairman Dave King lamented the expensive cost of employing the failed boss.
“We started last season with a new manager, a new coaching staff, and a raft of new players including the flagship signing of a European Championship-winning centre-back,” said King at the club’s AGM in 2018 [Express].

“The great disappointment is that our investment at the start of last season proved to be not fit for purpose.
“We embarrassingly lost our Europa League first-round qualifier to a team with an extremely modest European pedigree (Progres Niederkorn).”
Speaking of Dave King, the ex-Rangers chairman is right back in the thick of things this week even if it has little to do with Pedro Caixinha and his move to Talleres.
