On the Official Rangers Podcast, former player Andy Little has reflected on a career-defining moment.
The Northern Irishman retired from professional football in November 2018, eventually giving in to a multitude of injury problems [BBC Sport].

Despite being just 29, he still has some fond memories to look back on.
He earned nine international caps for his country and finished Rangers’ top goalscorer during the 2012-13 season.
However, the one stand out moment was an Ibrox strike against Celtic.
He notched the Gers’ second in a 3-2 league victory back in March 2012.

“My whole family were there and they quickly let me know that that was something I was going to remember for the rest of my life”, said Little of the goal, on the Official Rangers Podcast.
“I’m going to take it to the grave with me and it’s something I’m very proud of.
“So, I hope someone else can do it next week.”
Little may have struggled with injuries throughout his career, but he was still an important player during his time at Ibrox.

He could have upped sticks after the financial meltdown of 2012. Instead, he signed a new deal in order to help the club get back to where it is today.
The affection he has for Rangers shines through on the podcast, as he recalls that memorable Ibrox contribution.
As he says, let’s hope someone else gets their moment in the spotlight on Sunday and can guide the Gers to a second Old Firm victory of the season.
