Five Rangers players are set to be affected with multiple journalists reporting that the EFL plans to suspend all games in an attempt to slow the spread of coronavirus.
Rangers’ Europa League last 16 clash against Bayer Leverkusen took place at a packed Ibrox last night despite other games in the competition being either postponed or played behind closed doors.

At present, Sunday’s Old Firm at Ibrox is also set to go ahead [BBC].
However, a handful of Gers loanee look unlikely to be turning out at the weekend with multiple journalists reporting that the EFL is set to follow the lead of the Serie A and La Liga by suspending all fixtures.
There are currently four Rangers loanees playing in EFL League One: Ross McCrorie (Portsmouth), Jak Alnwick (Blackpool), Jordan Rossiter (Fleetwood Town) and Jamie Murphy (Burton Albion).
Alnwick and Rossiter have both been out injured for some time, but McCrorie and Murphy have been playing key roles for their respective sides since the winter break.

Meanwhile, Glenn Middleton has been with League Two side Bradford City since January.
He made a substitute appearance in a defeat at Salford City at the weekend, but it now looks as though he won’t feature again for the Bantams for the foreseeable.
The Premier League could also soon announce a suspension with an emergency meeting scheduled for this morning.
