The first pictures have emerged of the revamped Rangers Store at Ibrox stadium ahead of a £250k Castore refit and renovation.
Rangers fans have been boycotting the retail unit for years due to the influence of Sports Direct and Mike Ashley but those on the MyGers membership scheme will get the first glance for real today.
The club are opening up the store exclusively to MyGers members until 6pm today whilst there will also be a special screening of tonight’s Europa League clash with Bayer Leverkusen at the stadium.
Rangers SLO Greg Marshall has gone into greater detail about tickets and opening times for everyone, including non-MyGers members.
Fans will be able to get a proper glimpse of the new refit today as excited supporters rush to spend their hard-earned money on new Rangers merchandise.
There will also be a special product launch as part of the reopening.
The club’s supporters are expected to pour in in their droves to snap up Rangers merch from premium sportswear brand Castore after years of boardroom battles with Mike Ashley.
The club famously only made 7p to every £1 sold but now those previous retail deals have come to an end, fans can look forward to buying stock knowing the money is going to the club.
It’s been a rocky road to get to this point – and question marks remain over why Sports Direct has access to much of the kit – but the reopening of the old megastore is a big moment.
A lot of work has gone into the renovation and Rangers are determined for it to be a place fans to enjoy on matchdays.

“The new Rangers Ibrox Retail Store will be complemented with a number of other key retail sites in Glasgow and further afield, now identified by Castore and Rangers and close to agreement,” reads a Rangers statement.
“The Ibrox Retail Store will undergo a £250,000 renovation and become a key venue for all Rangers supporters and on matchdays will be supported with further pop up stores within the Stadium.”
