Famous Rangers pub the Bristol Bar is offering free breakfast packs for families during the global pandemic after being ordered to close its doors by the government.
The boozer, based in Dennistoun, Glasgow, sent a heartfelt message to supporters as the government order closed the pub’s doors to patrons for the foreseeable future.
But speaking on their Facebook page, the Bristol will continue to help those in need by distributing completely free breakfast packs between 9am-11am every morning.

“As of Midnight tonight [20/03/20] we will be closed until further notice,” writes the pub on their official Facebook page.
“We thank you all for your continued support.
“We will continue to help the local community and will be open on Monday for Take away breakfast packs only for FREE between 9am and 11am.
“Feel free to pop in and collect yours.
“Thanks in advance #TeamBristol.”
It’s a nice touch from the pub which has been distributing the breakfast packs since the beginning of the week.
Local people are being encouraged to help with donations for the packs which will serve some of the neediest people in Glasgow’s Eastend.
At times of crisis, it shows a passionate level of community thinking and the pub must be lauded for its efforts to help families cope amid the global pandemic.

The Bristol Bar isn’t the only Rangers pub sending messages to the club’s support amid the virus shutdown.
Rangers boozers will be adversely affected by a lack of football, never mind the fact pubs have been ordered to close.
The Louden Tavern took to Twitter to send a message to the Rangers family saying they “fully support” the measures taken by the government.
