Ianis Hagi, who has been the subject of regular transfer speculation since his arrival at Rangers, has made it clear that he is happy at Ibrox [Rangers FC Twitter].
Hagi joined the Gers initially on loan from Belgian club Genk in January 2020 before being snapped up on a permanent deal less than six months later for a fee in the region of £3m [Scottish Sun].

Since then, he hasn’t had it all his own way, with the odd spell out of the side. However, he’s currently in good form and is beginning to realise his potential, with six goals and eleven assists to his name already this season.
The Romania international has been linked with various big clubs in recent months, including Sampdoria, Sevilla and 2019/20 Champions League semi-finalists, RB Leipzig [Daily Record].
However, he’s shown no desire to leave Rangers and Bears will likely be delighted by his latest comments, in which he makes it clear that he’s happy at the club.
“When you’re happy and you go out on the pitch, you just give your best,” said Hagi when discussing his recent good form [Rangers FC Twitter]. “I’m enjoying my football a lot lately and getting closer to the end of the season, games with pressure come, like the knockout stages of the Europa League, and that’s the type of football I love.”
“I think that has a role to play in my enjoyment but obviously the team is playing really well. We’re winning most of the games and I can’t not enjoy the football that we’re playing and I’m playing right now.”

Hagi still isn’t a guaranteed starter for Rangers’ in the biggest matches, but with 35 appearances so far this season, he’s still receiving plenty of playing time.
His vision and creativity have been key to many victories since his initial loan move from Genk and given that he’s still only 22, he’s a hugely exciting prospect.
Rangers will be looking to hold onto Hagi for a few more seasons yet and supporters will be delighted that he appears to have found a home at Ibrox after several seasons of upheaval.
Hagi will be hoping to be involved when the Gers take on Livingston in the Premiership on Wednesday evening, but in a blow for the league leaders, one of his teammates has been declared doubtful for the game.
