Former Rangers star Kevin Thomson is doing a stellar job as a manager, with his team still unbeaten in the league so far this season.
Thomson won five trophies at Rangers between 2007 and 2010 and soon after the tough-tackling midfielder hung up his boots in 2016, he returned to the club as an Academy coach.

He had worked his way up to the role of B team manager before opting to leave Auchenhowie in May to take over from Barry Ferguson at Kelty Hearts.
Joining an ambitious club ahead of their first season in the SPFL was an opportunity too good to turn down and so far, he’s making the most of it.
Kelty defeated Cowdenbeath 2-0 on the opening day of the league season and haven’t looked back.
Despite recently losing influential former Gers midfielder Jamie Barjonas to injury, they remain unbeaten in the fourth tier.
Their 1-0 home win over Forfar Athletic at the weekend was their tenth victory from 13 league matches so far.
Thomson’s side have scored the most goals (25) and conceded the fewest (nine) in the division, and they’ve already opened up a ten-point gap back to Forfar in second.

It’s still relatively early days but Kelty are massive favourites to gain automatic promotion and that would be an impressive achievement for Thomson in his first senior management role.
Rangers are, of course, currently looking for a new boss and Thomson retains close ties with the club, still featuring regularly as a co-commentator on RangersTV.
The 37-year-old has a long way to go before he’s ready for the Ibrox hot seat, but he could scarcely have made a better start at New Central Park.
In other news, a Rangers star’s return to Glasgow was delayed after his plane struck birds shortly after taking off from Heathrow.
