Former Rangers goalkeeper Theo Snelders is to be inducted into the Aberdeen Hall of Fame.
The Dutch stopper played for the Dons for eight years between 1988 and 1996 before moving from Pittodrie to Ibrox.
Snelders would then go on to spend three years at Ibrox in the 90s but it is for his time at Aberdeen that he best remembered in Scotland.

Theo Snelders, now 55, was a cult hero amongst the Aberdeen support for the leading role he played in the League Cup and Scottish Cup wins for the Dons in 1989 and 1990 respectively.
Snelders made crucial, match-defining stops in the 2-1 Aberdeen win over Rangers in the League Cup Final and famously stopped Anton Rogan’s penalty to help Aberdeen to a 9-8 penalty shoot-out Scottish Cup triumph over Celtic.
Making 221 appearances for Aberdeen, he didn’t quite manage to make the grade at Ibrox.
Snelders would make 13 league appearances for the Ibrox club before leaving for Dutch side MVV Maastricht.
The fact that Snelders had to compete with both the Goalie Andy Goram and der Goalie Stefan Klos – two of the four best Rangers goalkeepers ever – means he was always up against it in Glasgow.

Whilst an Aberdeen player, Snelders would also earn one cap for the Netherlands – a 2-0 win over the Soviet Union in 1989 with Marco van Basten and Ronald Koeman scoring.
He will be inducted into Aberdeen’s hall of fame on Thursday, November 21 at the city’s Chester Hotel.
