Ex-Rangers boss Mark Warburton is a man under pressure at Queens Park Rangers as old habits die hard for the former Ibrox gaffer.
Warburton’s QPR side fell to a 3-0 defeat to Barnsley after they were reduced to 10 men following Robert Dickie giving away a penalty midway through the first half.

It leaves QPR languishing in 18th place in a competitive English Championship and the complaints of Rs supporters will sound eerily similar to those of Warburton during his time at Ibrox.
The English manager had a very successful first year in Scotland, building a side which dominated the Scottish Championship, beating Celtic in the Scottish Cup semis and earning promotion.
But when Rangers got to the Premiership Warburton struggled to implement his famously stubborn game plan and things quickly unravelled under the pressure of expectancy.
Hammerings at the hands of Celtic and stuttering form had Warburton eyeing up the exit door and confusion remains over an alleged resignation which was later accepted by Rangers.
Warburton would refute this profusely – even if he would go on to manage Nottingham Forest in the immediate aftermath – and his time at Ibrox came to an end.

Warburton famously said plan B is to do plan A better with a technical, ball-playing style his unshakeable tactical masterplan with every club he manages.
Queens Park Rangers fans are beginning to get frustrated with the 58-year-old’s stubborn tactics as they face early signs of a relegation dogfight this season.
