Ex-Rangers defender Lee Hodson is on the verge of signing for Scottish Premiership rivals Hamilton, according to the Daily Record [Print edition p.44 10/08/20].
The Scottish paper is reporting that the former Ibrox full-back could return up north after a spell with League One Gillingham.

With Hamilton closing in on the Northern Irish international, 28, Dundee are also claimed to be interested but Hodson is said to prefer a return to the Premiership.
The report also credits Ross County with an interest earlier in the season but Staggies boss Stuart Kettlewell is now said to be happy with his defensive options.
Hodson joined Rangers in 2016 when the Ibrox club was being managed by Mark Warburton but struggled to hold down a place in the Ibrox side.
The former Watford full-back made 27 appearances for Rangers in two seasons before being farmed out on loan to St. Mirren.
The defender would then move to Gillingham after his contract expired at Ibrox but the defender found himself north of the border once more via a loan return to St. Mirren.

Now he looks set to return to Scotland to join Brian Rice’s Accies side who are currently rooked to the bottom of the Scottish Premiership.
Full-back Hodson – who can play on either side of the defence – has 28 caps for the Northern Ireland national team.
