Scottish football journalist Ewen Cameron has aimed both barrels at Aberdeen Football Club as he unloads on their manager Derek McInnes and their “Rangers hating” fans.
The controversial journalist has claimed that Rangers dodged a bullet when McInnes “bottled” the Rangers job and that Aberdeen fans are “nothing special”.
In stinging comments, he also claimed Aberdeen fans hate Rangers more than they love Aberdeen.
“And what is really pathetic, in regards to Aberdeen supporters, is they hate Rangers more than they love Aberdeen.
“Their fans are raging that Rangers have gone from League Two to the only club that has a chance of ending Celtic’s dominance.
“For me, Aberdeen fans have a chip on their shoulder.”
Cameron didn’t let up in sticking the knife into the Dons fans and their club, with manager Derek McInnes subject to a bit of a mauling too.
With Steven Gerrard now in charge, Cameron suggests Rangers fans should be grateful that Derek McInnes “bottled” his chance to take over at Ibrox.
“He didn’t go to Rangers because he bottled it,” said Cameron.
“He’s a bottle merchant. He isn’t a big club manager.
“He knows he isn’t a big club manager, Derek McInnes knows his place.
“It turns out, in my opinion, that Rangers actually dodged a bullet with Derek McInnes.
“Why? Because Aberdeen have won one trophy during that spell and that was when Rangers were on a world tour of Scotland, playing the likes of Peterhead.”
Say what you mean Ewen!
Football Daft is hosted by Hearts fan Ewen Cameron and popular Rangers supporting personality Grado and includes guests, interviews and plenty of football banter.
On last week’s show, there were even claims that a Premier League outfit was sniffing about one of Rangers’ top talents.
