Rangers have released images from their final training session in the lead up to their weekend fixture.
Steven Gerrard’s men travel to Easter Road to take on Hibernian, in a must win game.

Often, these training updates can provide some insight into players who have returned to the fold and are pushing for selection once more.
One of those players, is Eros Grezda.
The Albanian international is yet to feature for the Gers in 2019, having picked up a foot injury during the mid-season camp in Tenerife.

Obviously, no player ever wants to get injured.
This came at a particularly bad time for Grezda, though.
The winger arrived for a reported £2 million in the summer, but failed to establish himself during the early season.
Therefore, after a period on the sidelines, and with several weeks of training under his belt, he’s sure to be raring to go in order to try to prove himself in British football.

In the images shared by the
Rangers Twitter account, he is snapped taking part in a drill with Jermain Defoe.
Furthermore, later in the gallery, he features in a general view shot of training.

Will he return?

Grezda may be eager to get back out there, but competition for places is fierce at the minute.
There was no place in the squad for January signing Steven Davis, at Aberdeen.
In wide areas, Daniel Candeias’ and Ryan Kent’s form has been so good, that Glenn Middleton has mainly been forced to look on since the winter break.

Therefore, it may be a leap to suggest Grezda will be involved against Hibs.
Rangers Reserves are due to play Partick Thistle on Monday, and that may be a more likely comeback fixture.
