El Bufalo returns in our Rangers predicted XI for Boxing Day visit of Hibs

Rangers are preparing for the visit of Hibs this Boxing Day as the club looks to make it twelve wins on the bounce in the Scottish Premiership.

The last time the Gers dropped points in the league campaign was against Jack Ross’ side and Steven Gerrard will be hoping his charges can banish the demons of that 2-2 draw in Glasgow this time around.

Rangers at Ibrox are a considerably different prospect for an admittedly on-form Hibs side who will prove no pushovers in a match which could go a long way to deciding the league championship.

Hibs stand as one of the sides best equipped to take points off the Gers and the club’s rivals will be watching this one with real anticipation.

Rangers have bounced back from their Betfred Cup exit to St. Mirren – a bitter disappointment in a season devoid of them – to win their last two matches against Motherwell and St. Johnstone.

With Hibs likely to have a go at Ibrox expect Rangers boss Gerrard to revert to type and build a side with the quality attacking verve we’ve been used to in Glasgow this season.

We’re expecting only a few changes to the side which dumped St. Johnstone 3-0 with a few names more regularly involved to be recalled in the starting XI.

For us, the hardworking Scotty Arfield – who scored in that Easter Road draw – comes back in for Joe Aribo whilst the quarrelsome Alfredo Morelos returns in place of the impressive Ianis Hagi.

Other than we expect the side to continue as you were as Rangers hope to continue their fine form on the Boxing Day.

Rangers have also been boosted by the news that two key Hibs first teamers could be out for the clash at Ibrox this weekend.
