Eduardo Herrera has got off to a flyer at his new club, Necaxa.
It’s almost as if he’s rubbing Rangers’ noses in it.
After forking out approximately £1.5 million for his services in July 2017, the striker undoubtedly failed to justify his price tag.
Rangers were reportedly forking out around £20,000-a-week in wages to a guy who appeared almost exclusively as a sub.
In fact, he didn’t manage to score at Ibrox at all, during a full season at the club. His only strike in the SPL rounded off the scoring in a 3-1 victory away at Ross County.

Already, though, it’s an altogether different story at Necaxa. Herrera has rediscovered his eye for goal.
It just took him three minutes to net on his debut, setting up a 2-0 away win over Atletico San Luis in the Copa MX Clausura.

Ultimately, his adopted side slipped to a 2-1 defeat to Club America.
Incredibly, though, Herrera has now scored more goals across two appearances in a Mexican domestic competition, than he managed in a whole SPL season.
He can do it after all!
