Rangers managing director Stewart Robertson has hinted that the club still has cash to spend as we head into the business end of the transfer window.
Speaking as Rangers launched the Everyone, Anyone diversity campaign, Robertson also threw his full backing behind Steven Gerrard.
The Rangers chief praised the progress over the last four years and the ongoing investment on and off the pitch.

“It is down to the guys identifying players who they might want to bring in and bringing that to the board,” said Robertson, as quoted by the Scottish Sun.
“But, absolutely, there is money there to strengthen further.

“There has been a massive turnaround. I don’t think anyone really appreciated where the club was four years ago and it is only looking back that you realise how much turmoil there was.
“What we have got now is a very strong foundation in place to kick on to the next level on and off the pitch.
“There have been a lot of infrastructure changes at the training ground and there has been a lot of work done at Ibrox. A lot of it is unseen but there has been a lot of money spent.
“On the pitch, the board have been fantastic and the investors have backed Steven and his team in the players they have brought in.”
With Daniel Candeias on the move to Turkey,
Eros Grezda reportedly interesting sides in Ligue 1 [Scottish Sun], and Rangers still exploring the possibility of signing Ryan Kent on-loan, it’s clear Steven Gerrard needs more options in the final third.

Kyle Lafferty is also being touted to leave the club, meaning a replacement forward may need to be signed.
Robertson’s comments coupled with the ongoing transfer talk coming in and out of Ibrox could well mean Rangers have their eye on a couple of more signings yet.
It’s an exciting prospect for supporters with the league season under two weeks away.
