According to Soccerlink, Dijon are on the verge of signing an international left-back.
However, it’s not Borna Barisic. The same outlet suggested last month that the Ligue 1 side were interested in signing the Gers defender.

Yet, it seems they have decided to look elsewhere in the shape of Ngonda Muzinga. The 24-year-old is a senior international for the Democratic Republic of the Congo and currently plies his trade for the Kinshasha based AS Vita.
However, he’s now said to be on the verge of a move to France, providing there are no issues with his medical.
Rangers’ Borna Barisic no longer a target
The imminent signing of Muzinga suggests that Barisic is no longer wanted by the French side.
That’s news which may bring a mixed response from Gers fans. The Croatian had a disappointing first season at Ibrox, struggling with both his form and his fitness.

On international duty, he’s shown he’s capable of producing quality performances. Yet, there are still concerns over his suitability for the physicality of the Scottish Premiership.
Barisic’s last outing was cut short by Steven Gerrard, who hooked him at half-time against Progres for fear of the left-back picking up a second yellow card.
