Recent reports have suggested that Motherwell full-back Chris Cadden is interesting MLS outfit Columbus Crew.
The Ohio club is thought to be looking at Cadden with a view to sending the right-back out on loan because their current roster is full for the season.
The talented Motherwell academy graduate is out-of-contract and currently considering his options.
Rangers were once said to be interested in the 22-year-old full-back, bringing a mixed response from supporters.
Any interest in the player appears to have dried up, and not without good reason.
In May 2018, Chris Cadden was called up to the Scotland squad and played in matches with Mexico and Peru.
But last season talk over his future appeared to affect Cadden and he hasn’t been selected for Scotland since.
Cadden only played 20 of Motherwell’s 38 Scottish Premiership games, managing a solitary goal and assist.

Compare this with the season before, were Cadden played 33 times and made five assists.
The right-back’s dip in form is also not the only thing which may have impacted Rangers monitoring of the player.
Right-back is a position where Rangers now have considerable strength in depth. James Tavernier, Jon Flanagan and Matt Polster can all play in the position.
Whilst there’s a decent player in Cadden, it looks very unlikely we’ll see him at Ibrox.
