Rangers striker Danilo has praised his Gers teammate Jack Butland for his performance against Real Betis at Ibrox in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening.
Michael Beale’s Rangers beat La Liga club Real Betis 1-0 at Ibrox in UEFA Europa League Group C on Thursday evening.
Abdallah Sima scored the only goal of the match midway through the second half.
Former Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe provided the assist for the goal.
Jack Butland started the match for Rangers and was superb between the sticks.
The goalkeeper, who joined Rangers in the summer transfer window as a free agent, made a number of saves, including one to deby Abde Ezzalzouli in the first half.

Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini was impressed.
And so was Rangers striker Danilo.

Butland stood tall in goal and kept the Betis attackers at bay.
The 30-year-old has been one of the best players for Rangers so far this season, and he showed that again on Thursday.
Big win for Rangers
Real Betis were favourites to win the match against Rangers, but it was the Scottish Premiership club who ended up with the three points.
It is a massive win for the Gers.
The three points will now enhance Rangers’ chances of winning the group or at least finishing in the top two.
