BT Sport presenter Darrell Currie has claimed on Twitter that Rangers star Alfredo Morelos is still not back in Glasgow following international duty with Colombia.
The 23-year-old forward was in action for his national team against Peru on Saturday, notching his maiden international goal, before featuring again against Ecuador on Wednesday.
Both of those fixtures took place in the United States, but his journey back to Glasgow included a stop-off in his homeland.
On Friday afternoon, Steven Gerrard confirmed that he had yet to report back to the Hummel Training Centre, hinting he may drop to the bench for the Premiership clash against Hamilton on Sunday [Glasgow Evening Times].
However, we’re now into Saturday evening and it’s alleged he is still yet to return.
If that is the case, El Bufalo is highly unlikely to feature at all against Accies, given the game kicks off at 12.15pm tomorrow.
Can’t imagine Alfredo Morelos will feature for @RangersFC tomorrow. He’s still not back in Glasgow after international duty.

It appears that unrest in Colombia has been the player’s undoing.
The country closed its borders between midnight on Wednesday and the early hours of Friday morning amid a national strike and sporadic violence [CNN], causing significant delays to flights.
The Scottish Sun reported on Saturday morning that Morelos was in a race to make it back in time and based on Currie’s tweet, he looks on the verge of losing that battle.
The news puts pressure on the Premiership’s top goalscorer, Jermain Defoe, who will now likely be the only out-and-out striker in the Rangers matchday squad.
