Rangers last game of the season against Hibernian probably summed up what has been a shocker of a campaign from start to finish.
Missed chances, defensive mistakes and an array of poor officiating decisions that changed the outcome of the game.
The biggest, and most obvious, was Nick Walsh – not the VAR team – clearly ignoring that Rangers via Nicolas Raskin had the ball in the net to make it 2-0.
From less than 10-yards away, the man in the middle couldn’t have had a better view, he shouldn’t have needed the help of those in his ear.
What also didn’t help, is the reaction of the Rangers players, according to Craig Moore.

Craig Moore has dig at soft Rangers stars for phantom goal reaction
Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show, Moore claims that he would have been incandescent at the decision and that he was disappointed not to see the Rangers players showing more emotion:
“Yeah, good point. I would have been chasing. I would have been chasing and putting a lot of pressure on the referee.
“Because it’s that on-field decision that’s the important one. It’s the on-field decision that’s the important one, you know, in terms of potentially being changed or not.”
Are Rangers too soft?
Moore is right, even Raskin only half celebrates rather than looking more convincing.
After the goal isn’t given, nobody runs to Walsh or even really complains to him.
Barry Ferguson complained about this Rangers team being too nice and he has a point.
In the second half, one foul by Rangers saw almost all the Hibs players charge in, despite it being nothing more than a free-kick and maybe a yellow card, and they did this the whole game.
Domestically, Rangers need to start playing teams at their own games.
