'Cracking player' - fans react to Rangers' reported Karlan Grant interest

The Scottish Sun have reported that Charlton are aware of apparent Rangers interest in their most prized asset.
Karlan Grant, their free scoring striker, is only contracted until June and the Gers are reportedly keen on a pre-contract deal.
21-year-old Grant, is a product of the youth system at The Valley.
A former England youth international at several age groups, he had largely failed to make an impact in senior football until this season.

However, he has been prolific this campaign, averaging a goal every other game for The Addicks.

13 strikes, leaves him joint third in the League One goal scoring charts. That’s one goal behind Tom Eaves,
who was touted as a Rangers target before the January window opened.
As news of the report filtered through on Twitter late last night, fans expressed their excitement.

Several Charlton fans were pretty adamant their man was going nowhere though.

Rangers currently have good options in forward areas, but that could change by the summer.
Additionally, should Grant wish to leave Charlton, Rangers have the distinct advantage of having to pay a much less significant development fee than English clubs.
This is certainly one to track over the next couple of weeks.
