Controversial ex-Gers midfielder, Joey Barton, has got himself into trouble again.
This time, as manager of Fleetwood Town.
The 36-year-old was a flop at Rangers, arriving to much fanfare in 2016, but making just five league appearances.

He initially signed on a two-year contract. However, a training ground incident with Andy Halliday, led to a falling out with manager, Mark Warburton.
Barton’s Rangers contract was terminated early, in November 2016, as a scandal brewed.
Not long after re-joining Burnley, he was slapped with an 18-month playing ban for breaching FA rules on betting.

Since then, he has reinvented himself as a manager, taking the reigns at Fleetwood Town.
It must be said, things have been going quite well. They currently sit in a respectable eleventh place in League One.
For the most part, Barton appears to have kept his head down and done a good job.

Yet, on Friday, it emerged that he was once again in hot water with the FA. This time for using ‘abusive and/or insulting’ language, as well as questioning an official’s integrity.
The incident took place during a 2-1 league defeat to Bristol Rovers, last month.

As a result, he was slapped with a two-match touchline ban and a £2,000 fine.
While he certainly faced more serious punishments as a player, this is his first disciplinary blemish in management.
Will it be his last?
Don’t count on it.
