Controversial Celtic legend Chris Sutton conceded the Scottish Premiership title to Rangers beforef the Ibrox club’s 1-0 win over their bitter rivals.
That result sends Rangers 19 points clear in the Scottish Premiership but despite Celtic having three games and potentially nine points in hand Sutton has already thrown in the towel.

With the out-of-form Parkhead club’s legendary 10IAR season unravelling before their very eyes, Sutton has conceded that the support’s Holy Grail has been handed over to Ibrox.
Sutton believes the title race was “done before today’s game”.
“The truth is before today’s game, it was done before today’s game,” said Sutton [BT Sport Score].
“I think Celtic may take encouragement from the performance, but it’s little consolation.
“They lost the game, and they’ve lost the league this season on the basis that Rangers have a really solid goalkeeper, and their backline is really solid.
“Rangers didn’t deserve to win today, but they got over the line and you’ve got to give credit to Steven Gerrard.
“Celtic aren’t coming back from this, to think that Rangers have dropped four points all season, it’s done.”

The win leaves Rangers in a strong position going into the second half of the season but Steven Gerrard’s side certainly won’t be taking anything for granted as they look to lift title 55.
Some might be saying the title is done, but whilst Rangers can celebrate the victory over Celtic, they can celebrate a title when they actually win it.
