French side Lille are set to Rangers’ resolve with a final take-it-or-leave-it offer for Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos, according to a report in the Scottish Sun.
The powerful forward is back in the Gers team and back amongst the goals after being dropped from the squad amid earlier bids of a reported £16m by the Ligue 1 club [Daily Mail].

But now Rangers’ resolve is set to be tested by an £18m offer as Lille look to strengthen their side ahead of the transfer window closing in early October.
Morelos is also said to be interesting Premier League club West Brom who are said by the Sun report to be monitoring the Colombian’s situation in Glasgow.
The news comes after reports in South America had claimed that Lille had already lodged an £18.3m (€20m) bid for the 24-year-old, with Rangers yet to reject the bid.

Pipe Sierra suggested the Ibrox striker has been the subject of an £18.3m (€20m) bid from Lille and also claimed Fiorentina and West Brom have made their interest “official”.
Rangers fans will also take note of comments made by Lille boss Christophe Galtier, who suggested the club are working on arrivals in the background of the club.
“Right now I’m focused on preparing the matches and the competitions we’re competing in,” said Galtier, as quoted by the Daily Record.
“October 5 [deadline day] is still a long way away in my eyes, we have three matches before then.
“I’m focused on what to do with my current squad. I’m sure the president and Luis (Campos) (director of football) are working and any outgoings will be matched by arrivals.

“It’s fine that I’m not kept in the loop, I’m focused on the matches and it doesn’t affect my decisions.”
Alfredo Morelos, 24, returned to the starting line-up for Rangers this weekend as the Ibrox club stumbled to a 2-2 draw with Hibs in Edinburgh.
