Chris Sutton has taken yet another dig at Rangers and Hearts fans as he has discussed Celtic’s chances of winning the SPFL title.
Currently, the Hoops are in third place on the SPFL table, but have the advantage of playing both their title rivals at home post the split.
For Rangers, they play both Hearts and Celtic away from Ibrox, but know that if they win their remaining games, they will secure the title.
Five players have been shortlisted for Player of the Season…
Who should win it in your view, and why?
Chris Sutton believes Rangers and Hearts fans are ‘laughable’ with their comments
Sutton does not seem to understand why Rangers and Hearts have reacted in the manner they have to the post-split fixtures.
In his view, both teams have played their home games against Celtic and it is now the Hoops’ chance to have a go at them at Parkhead.
The former Celtic striker has laughed off assertions that there has been a conspiracy favouring the defending champions.

He told the Daily Record: “On the remaining fixtures, the response from some has been laughable. What do Rangers and Hearts fans want? To play all their games at home?
“In case they haven’t noticed, they’ve both already had two more home games than Celtic – who have been to Ibrox and Tynecastle twice already.
“It’s hardly a conspiracy. Hearts supporters are up in arms about not getting a home game on the final day but there was no way of working that given the way the previous fixtures have gone.”
The post-split fixtures are here!
How many points do YOU see Rangers getting from them? 🤔
Sutton completely seems to be missing the point
The point being made by both sets of fans is that Hearts should be the team getting the advantage on the final day of the season and should play at home.
Nobody is asking for the fixtures to be changed in terms of home/away, as it was already clear which team would be playing where.
In recent years, the SPFL have given home advantage on the final day to the side leading before going into the split.
However, this time, they did not and that has led to Rangers and Hearts fans being enraged.
Sutton conveniently misses the point, as it benefits Celtic and gives them the edge to win the league.
The Ibrox faithful will be hoping that the recent injuries do not cost the Gers and they can go on to win the title.
