Rangers’ Old Firm rivals Celtic have been linked to a prolific striker to whom the Gers distanced themselves from only last season.
Cameroon international and potent BSC Young Boys striker Jean-Pierre Nsame, 27, was linked to Rangers last season by Kick 442 in the striker’s homeland.

That report even claimed that Nsame had spoken to the Steven Gerrard about a move and the Ibrox side were willing to pay £3.6m for the forward.
Steven Gerrard even fielded questions about the interest and the Rangers gaffer quickly moved to dismiss the claims.
“We’re close on a couple of things that are brewing away but Nsame isn’t a name we should be linked with,” said Gerrard [Herald].
Now, the potent striker who has scored 97 goals in 163 games for the Swiss side has been linked to Old Firm rivals Celtic amid a myriad of Premier League clubs.
Football outlet TEAMtalk are claiming that Celtic, Newcastle United, West Ham, and Southampton are all eyeing the striker ahead of next season.

The striker played in both games against Rangers for Young Boys in the Europa League last season but failed to score as the Swiss side won 2-1 in Berne and earned a 1-1 draw at Ibrox.
The same TEAMtalk report has also linked Rangers to an international teammate of Nsame’s who also plays alongside him in Switzerland.
