Rangers’ relentless romp to the title is certainly getting to Old Firm rivals Celtic and even their club legends are struggling to contain themselves as reality sets in.
Despite the monumental head start, Rangers stopped Celtic in their tracks in the only season which really mattered to them as Terry Munro was laid to rest by the ghosts of 55.

It’s very much an open wound at the moment and there are plenty of things being trialled as a bandage for the gushing pain of the Ibrox club’s record-breaking title victory.
Not only did the Gers go the entire league campaign unbeaten, but the club conceded the least amount of goals in a British league season and now hold a coveted 26-game clean sheet record.
That 25-point gap is more a Grand Canyon which is clearly warding off any prospective managers as Celtic toil to fill the hotseat and Stevie G sinks pints whilst singing Simply the Best.
It’s all too much for Celtic legend Alan Thompson, who certainly appeared to be burning the midnight oil as he melted down over Twitter regarding the title victory.
Mr Thompson may or may not have had one or two shandies as he almost incomprehensibly started Sevcoing into the Twitter void at 2am.
Get a load of these salty efforts:
Good to see it’s not getting to you Alan, mate.
The Famous Glasgow Rangers are once again the Kings of Scotland and there’s nothing – I repeat nothing – any of this butthurt bleating is going to do about it.
How about sorting it out on the pitch and actually offering a challenge next season Celtic?

What the club and fans are serving up at the moment – both on and off the field – is an utter embarrassment and maybe Mr Thompson should take a moment to consider how badly all this reflects on him.
Or don’t; it doesn’t bother Rangers fans, we’re certainly enjoying lapping up all those tears.
Speaking of tears, Rangers fans went bonkers for an image of Alfredo Morelos which will surely haunt the dreams of the club’s Old Firm rivals.
