Medals are never handed out in February and Philippe Clement certainly won’t be counting his chickens that Rangers will be successful in the title race purely because he managed to drag us level with Celtic for 24 hours.
The Gers boss won’t be looking at the league table until the business end of the season but he has galvanised a squad that is in sync with the Ibrox faithful.
It is a different story on the other side of the city though with Callum McGregor not looking as confident as he did after the last Old Firm derby, one that Philippe Clement and his Rangers team have bounced back from in style.

Philippe Clement leading Rangers pressure as Celtic creak
Speaking after his side scraped a draw against Hibs at Easter Road via two disputable penalties, the Celtic captain didn’t have quite the same bravado when he was awarded man of the match at Parkhead.
Telling sponsors and hospitality that “they hadn’t played anyone yet” in response to Rangers good form under Philippe Clement since he arrived, it was clear that he thought it was business as usual.
Just six weeks later and he is “hoping” the win at Easter Road is the turning point after seeing Rangers reel in a double-digit gap at the top of the table.
A three-goal win over Ross County and the gap is no more.
Even in the post-match footage seen on social media, McGregor isn’t as exuberent as he normally is after such a win, Kyogo Furuhashi clearly couldn’t be bothered and Liel Abada was already down the tunnel.
Three key players who are all far from firing on all cylinders and two who Brendan Rodgers dropped despite being first names on the team-sheet for Ange Postecoglu.
This, of course, means nothing if Rangers don’t take advantage of it but Philippe Clement isn’t one to take the foot off the gas.
