Celebrity Rangers fan Drew McIntyre is never shy about waving the Ibrox flag and he done so again as he reached the pinnacle of WWE success.
The global wrestling superstar sealed a shot at the World Heavyweight Title in the main event at Wrestlemania 36 after being the only wrestler left in the ring during the Royal Rumble.
A Scottish success story from the town of Ayr, McIntyre will now be set for a title match with current champion Brock Lesnar in April.
Indeed, bluenose McIntyre was the one who threw Lesnar out of the ring in the 30-man contest after coming into the match as the 16th wrestler.
It’s a taste of things to come and the Rangers support will be cheering on the 6ft5 34-year-old WWE superstar come the title bout.
McIntyre tipped his beloved Ibrox side to win the title this season [Sky Sports] back in August after the club’s summer transfer window.
“Now he has weeded out the ones that aren’t giving it all on the pitch and off the pitch,” said McIntyre.

“We’ve got a team that deserves to be there and are going to give it their all and that’s why I believe this is our season.”
Rangers fans also took to Twitter to praise the gigantic wrestler after the Ayrshire boy donned a Gers kit [Rangers] upon returning to Ibrox for a WWE show in Glasgow.
