Rangers kit partners Castore have announced yet another football deal as they continue their European invasion by striking a deal with Athletic Bilbao.
The iconic La Liga club, who since 1912 have been made up exclusively of players from the Basque region between Spain and France, will become the retailer’s latest foray into the Spanish market.
This comes after Castore struck a deal with Europa League legends Sevilla, one of a number of high-profile football partnerships Castore now oversees in the continent.
“We are incredibly proud to announce our partnership with a team steeped in history and tradition, and who, in turn, shares our strong desire for innovation,” Castore co-founder Tom Beahon told the Athletic Bilbao website.
“This will undoubtedly be the key to our success as partners.”
Rangers partners Castore team up with Athletic Bilbao
Athletic Bilbao join Sevilla, Bayer Leverkusen, Genoa and Feyenoord as Castore partners on the continent, with German giants Hamburger SV also to set to join their ranks in 2025.
In the UK, the Manchester-based retailer also have contracts with Newcastle United, Wolves and Aston Villa in the Premier League, whilst they’ve also struck deals with Charlton, Salford City, Preston North End and MK Dons in the lower leagues.
On the international stage, Castore also sent confused Celtic fans spiralling when they struck a deal with the Republic of Ireland football team, leaving Celtic dad’s everywhere emotionally torn over their kids’ Christmas presents this year.

But before all of this, Castore struck a deal with Rangers which has been transformative not just for the Ibrox side but also for the retailer.
In a recent interview, the deal with Rangers was described as a “quantum leap” for Castore as they continue to make inroads into the footballing market.
Also establishing themselves around the world of sport, the disruptor brand is in the business of upsetting the sporting retail apple cart and Castore’s valuation may even top £1bn this year.
