Castore have delivered following requests from Rangers fans by releasing the full 2020/21 travel collection online.

The new Rangers 150th anniversary home shirt was worn by the team for the first time for Monday night’s pre-season fixture against Partick Thistle.

The design has largely gone down well with supporters, who have also been snapping up new training gear.

Ahead of the friendly at Firhill, though, it became clear that not all of Castore’s designs for the coming season had been released.

Jack Simpson was pictured wearing a previously unseen navy and orange 3/4 zip during the warm-up, while Steven Gerrard and several players were spotted getting off the bus in a grey tracksuit.

Bears raved about the designs and called upon Castore to make them available.

It looks as though fans will have to wait a little while longer to get their hands on the 3/4 zip, but an email sent to supporters on Tuesday afternoon did confirm the release of the full 2021/22 travel collection.

Some items from the range were already available, but the grey ‘travel jacket’, for example, hadn’t previously been listed online.

The range also features Rangers gilets, which are priced at £70.

‘Travel in style like the team with the new 21/22 travel collection,’ reads the description. ‘Made from a lightweight high-stretch material to offer complete ease of movement and comfort for those long journeys.’

‘This collection is complete with Castore branding and the Rangers 150th anniversary crest on the front.’

The official kit launch may have come later than many fans had expected but after a busy few weeks of releases, there’s now certainly no shortage of different offerings for next season.

Castore are also set to open a new store in Scotland as part of a £1bn development.
