Castore have managed to keep a lid on the Rangers kit release leaks this season but it looks as though one has slipped through the net.
Social media is always a quick source of speculation and it would appear as though another throwback is being released.
Castore have said before that they would pay homage to a few classics and a Rangers fans’ favourite from the ’90s could be on the way.
For this one, you can’t avoid thinking about the likes of Mark Hateley but, personally, every time I see it, Duncan Ferguson springs to mind.
A central badge was adorned in Paul Gascoigne’s first season with Adidas providing the kit but Castore have taken inspiration from that popular 1995/96 home strip as well as the away from 1993/94.
Castore kit announcement revealed by Rangers
The kit is set for a 9am release tomorrow morning ahead of visit of Hamburg on Saturday with the club’s official Twitter site dropping a teaser shortly after the first images appeared.
This season’s Castore strips seem to have gone down well with the Rangers support, a mix of simplicity and traditional colourways.
If the leaked image is the third strip then, for once, the sportswear brand might have performed the impossible.

Three solid strips that are popular with fans.
Sam Lammers was presented in the new home strip, Abdallah Sima in the new away, would it be too much to ask for Danilo to be seen wearing the new third strip after news of a £5m bid was reported?
