Eros Grezda scored his first goal in a Rangers shirt as the Rangers reserves beat their Motherwell counterparts 6-2 at the Hummel Training Centre. But it was an exciting young talent who grabbed the headlines – and a hattrick. Dapo Mebude came on at half time and put in a performance of the highest quality.
Cammy Palmer and Andy Dallas scored the others.
Fans want to see more of the youngster
Dapo Mebude might only be 17, but he’s already impressing the Rangers faithful. Some are even suggesting he gets a crack at the first team. One thing is for sure, he’s got a bright future ahead of him.

Who is Dapo Mebude and what does he bring?
Rangers are the youngsters first club and Mebude is part of a promising group of players at the Hummel Training Centre.
He’s fast, tricky and real handful for defenders.
What’s more, he seems to know exactly where the goal is.
Ross McCrorie said he is “one to watch” from the young Gers. The London born striker has also turned out for Scotland at youth level.
Can he make the breakthrough? I wouldn’t be surprised if he maybe gets a few minutes this season. But if he manages to impress during them – much like 18-year-old Glenn Middleton – then there’s no reason he can’t make the squad full time.
Definitely one to watch.
