Rangers striker Danilo continued to build the hype around his return from injury with a series of Instagram updates from the club’s Training Centre.
The Brazilian hitman, 24, is building himself back up to full fitness after a devastating knee injury all but ended his season in December.
Philippe Clement has previously been clear that Danilo won’t be risked this season unless he can prove his fitness with the Brazilian at best hoping to make an impact in the run-in.
But the latest snaps have raised hopes Rangers could see the £6m summer signing from Feyenoord before the final whistle blows in this campaign.
Danilo steps up injury return
Taking to Instagram, Danilo shared an image of himself returning to the club’s training centre and stepping up his return from injury.
The Brazilian forward has seen his first season in Glasgow devastated by the issue but he remains undeterred and upbeat in the face of the issues.
Uploading clips of himself working hard to regain fitness, these are a sizeable step forward from the early days of the player’s recovery.
Danilo hasn’t exactly had the best injury luck at Ibrox since joining the club either.
The forward suffered a facial fracture in an early-season win against St Johnstone and was forced to wear a protective mask as a result.
In total, the striker has six goals and five assists in 21 games for Rangers.
Rangers resolving medical issues
As Danilo steps up his return from injury, Rangers’ medical issues are slowly – but surely – returning to normality.
Philippe Clement promised to resolve the situation with the Rangers squad when he came into the building, the club decimated by issues over the last 24 months.
Some of these problems continue to linger and are mostly centred in the offensive part of the pitch.
Danilo is however further away from a return than fellow striker Kemar Roofe, who could yet have a big say this season.

Abdallah Sima – who sustained an injury with Senegal at AFCON – is now a month into a two-three month injury diagnosis in January.
There have been other issues with Ben Davies – who returned to the B team this week – whilst Zak Lovelace and Leon Balogun joined him in a bounce match v Carlisle United.
