BT Sport are set to provide marathon coverage of the Betfred Old Firm Cup Final between Rangers and Celtic with the provider set to broadcast on the day for nine hours.
That’ll include six hours of build-up with the coverage beginning at 9am, continuing to kick-off at 3pm before finishing at 6pm.
It’s a monumental day of Old Firm coverage and comes as the match kicks off three hours later than normal, with the Old Firm matches in the Scottish Premiership generally kicking off at 12pm.

“We are throwing everything at it” said Grant Philips, Executive Producer and Match Director at Sunset and Vine, the production company behind BT’s coverage [Daily Record].
“It’s our last one, a huge game for BT Sport and our Sunset and Vine team in Glasgow.
“We love covering Scottish football and that’s reflected in everything we do up here.”
Whilst both sets of Old Firm fans will be determined to get a match ticket, the fact there’s such comprehensive coverage of the match is sure to excite fans.

From the moment supporters wake up in the morning all the way through to kick-off there will be plenty of matchday coverage to indulge in.
Let’s just hope the blue side of Glasgow can say they enjoyed it the most come 6pm on Sunday.
