Premier Sports have confirmed details of their broadcast of Rangers’ Champions League trip to face Union Saint Gilloise as UEFA rules force the Belgians into a stadium change.
Broadcaster Premier Sports regularly cover the early qualifiers in European competition and will once again be the place to watch the Gers as they head over to Belgium.
The match is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday August 2nd at 7:45pm and will be shown exclusively live on Premier Sports.
The game will also not be taking place at the Stade Joseph Marien, the traditional home ground of Union Saint Gilloise, due to strict UEFA rules.
The 9.4k seater stadium is not deemed suitable for a game of this magnitude and the powerbrokers at European football’s governing body have forced the change.

Instead, the first leg of the tie will take place at the Den Dreef stadium, the home of Royal Union Saint Gilloise’s Belgian Pro League rivals OH Leuven, which has a capacity of just over 10,000.
The stadium is 30 miles outside of Union Saint Gilloise’s home of Brussels and the low capacity means that Rangers will only be able to bring a limited number of supporters.
There will only be around 500 briefs in the ground for travelling Rangers fans but we’re surely plenty will make the trip to cheer on the club in Belgium.
Rangers are hoping to make the Champions League group stages for the first time since 2010 and will have to overcome the well-backed Union Saint Gilloise first.
Bankrolled by the chairman of Premier League outfit Brighton Tony Bloom, the Belgian underdogs earned promotion the season before last and finished second in the Pro League last season.
For those Rangers fans who don’t make the trip to Belgium, the match will also be live on Premier Sports and is set to take place just days after the Premiership opener away to Livingston.
The return leg at Ibrox will take place a week later on August 9th.
