British institution tweets Rangers fans with hilarious Barcelona comparison

British building society Nationwide have been Tweeting Rangers fans over the last few days with their latest earning an Ibrox duo a comparison with a legendary Barcelona pair.

Rangers fans had bombarded the group’s official Twitter page from Friday after they left a Tweet saying two employees called Kamara and Jack were on hand to answer queries.

Naturally, this had the Rangers support sending their own tongue-in-cheek messages to the Nationwide account with Ryan Jack and Glen Kamara in mind.

The Rangers midfield pair just so happen to have the same names as those two employees handling the tweets of the building society’s official account.

The Ibrox club’s supporters flooded the Tweet with appreciative comments about their midfield pairing:

Far from be deterred from responding to the Rangers fans, the Nationwide account took their comments in good jest and responded with a range of Tweets.

A couple of them even compared the Gers duo to legendary Barca pair Xavi and Andres Iniesta as they lapped up the response from Rangers fans.

It’s just adding to the good atmosphere which is building amongst the Rangers support as the Gers look to secure a legendary 55th title this season.

Rangers fans will also be boosted by the suggestion that one of this iconic midfield pair in Ryan Jack could also be set to return from injury in the not too distant future.
