The British government have released travel advice to Rangers supporters travelling to Legia Warsaw for their Europa League Playoff Round clash with the Polish club.

Such is the reputation of the Legia Warsaw hooligans, the powers that be have saw fit to wade into the situation.

Releasing what they call “travel advice” on the government’s official website, they’ve warned Rangers fans how to behave in Poland.

The advice includes instructions on how to travel to the famous Polish Army Stadium and link to public transport authorities whilst being clear on the best routes to the ground.

The government also include a list of “safety tips” that fans should adhere to in the city of Warsaw and whilst they’re in Poland.

These range from a reminder to keep your passport safe to a warning that anyone arrested in the country will have to go through the Polish judicial system before Britain can assist them.

The British government aren’t the only ones sending out a warning to Gers fans ahead of the match with Legia.

The club’s Supporter Liaison Officer Greg Marshall has provided a map of the area surrounding the stadium, directing supporters to a pre-ordained fan zone outside the Legia Warsaw ground.

Marshall also took to Twitter to ease the minds of supporters after the Polish club’s fans unveiled a banner ahead of their trip to Glasgow next week.
