A report from 90min.com has claimed that Premier League sides Brighton and Aston Villa have joined the race for James Tavernier.
The Rangers captain has also been the subject of reported interest from Newcastle United this week.
But despite claiming he loves it at Ibrox [Herald], Tavernier could soon be the subject of a three-way Premier League tussle for his signature.

The 90min report claims that Brighton are readying a formal approach for the flying wing-back.
The Seasiders are currently short at right-back and are said to see Tavernier as a solution.
90min then touch on the reported interest by Aston Villa and Newcastle United, claiming Brighton aim to steal in in front of the Premier League duo.

From a Rangers point of view it could be a potentially worrying scenario should a club make their interest concrete.
But Rangers have a real asset in Tavernier which means the club will demand a hefty fee for his services.
How much? That’s immediately hard to say, but the reported £8m Newcastle were touted as potentially offering is particularly undervaluing his worth to Rangers.

Tavernier is arguably the Gers best player and an absolute essential part of the club’s first XI. Replacing him would be a near-impossible task.
If you ask me, I would hate for the wing-back to move on, but anything under £15m is a slap in the face.
