Rangers defender Borna Barisic has recently been linked with a move away from Ibrox.
Soccerlink.fr reported last month that he was a transfer target for Ligue 1 side Dijon.

Additionally, Andy Halliday was preferred at left-back in two recent Europa League fixtures against St Joseph’s and Progres (H) respectively.
However, the fact that Stevie G included him in him starting XI away at Kilmarnock on Sunday afternoon, suggests he’s still very much in the manager’s plans.

The Gers spent a reported £2 million on the Croatian last season, but after a promising start, he failed to live up to his billing.

It’s clear there’s a serious player in there somewhere. You don’t establish yourself as a starter for the world’s number seven ranked international team [FIFA.com], without having bags of ability.
The issue is just whether or not Stevie G has the patience to try to tease that out of him in a Gers shirt or whether he will try to recoup the money the club paid for him before recruiting a replacement.
The 26-year-old played the full 90 minutes as the Gers sealed a dramatic victory at Rugby Park. Unfortunately, though, this wasn’t the big display he would have hoped for.

Many Bears were less than impressed with his showing. His crossing, in particular, was wayward and once again, he looked a player short on confidence.
We know he doesn’t like plastic surfaces, and he won’t be alone with that sentiment in the Rangers camp.
Yet, the manager patience won’t last forever, and he’ll hope a big showing is just around the corner.
