Porto are set to be able to call upon their star striker Moussa Marega against Rangers at Ibrox on Thursday night, following an update from Sergio Conceicao, as quoted by the Daily Record.
The 28-year-old Mali international has missed all three domestic fixtures since the Gers trip to the Dragao a little less than a fortnight ago.
Yet, he’s expected to lead the line against Stevie G’s men after their manager allayed fears about the severity of his knock.

“We won’t lose Marega for long,” said Conceicao ahead of their weekend fixture against Aves, as quoted by the Daily Record. “There are physical limitations but it is nothing serious.”
“It is a matter of days.”
Verdict
There’s no doubt this is a major boost for the Portuguese club.
Marega has struggled with injuries over the early part of this season, but he’s scored four times and notched two assists in seven Primeira Liga fixtures and is valued at a whopping £27 million by Transfermarkt.
However, the news that he’s likely to feature shouldn’t fill the Gers defence with terror.
Filip Helander was outstanding in the reverse fixture, largely snuffing out Marega’s considerable threat.
The big Swede isn’t the quickest of centre-backs, but he is astute and physical. He’s been a stand out for the Gers during this Europa League group stage and will fancy his chances at keeping Marega quiet once again, come Thursday night.
Porto come into the tie on the back of a somewhat unconvincing win on Sunday.
