Barry Ferguson has now masterminded victories over both Jose Mourinho and Brendan Rodgers.
The appointment of Fergie as Rangers interim boss raised plenty of eyebrows with plenty of people questioning his credentials for a job that size having not managed above League One in Scotland before.
He showed he could implement the character he had as a player with a fighting comeback against Kilmarnock in his first game in charge.
But he’s gone so much further after knocking Fenerbahçe out of the Europa League over two leagues and now adding a derby win over Celtic to his CV.
The 3-4-2-1 formation that worked away in Turkey served him a treat again today as he got the better of the more experienced Northern Irishman in the home dressing room.
Neil Lennon has already praised Rangers and named all the things they did well in the game, talking up the tactics implemented by the 47-year-old.
Lennon also waxed lyrical about Nicolas Raskin after his man-of-the-match display which included a goal and and assist.
He wasn’t the only one to impress as Rangers News dished out 8/10s and 9/10s in our player ratings.
Now, another Celtic hero has had his say and claimed he would WANT Ferguson to land the job permanently.

Has Barry Ferguson earned himself Rangers job?
It was not expected that Ferguson would be in the running to land the job on a more permanent basis. But has he just thrown himself into contention.
These results are always going to get fans onside but Fergie has also proved to be more than just passion with some tactical genius helping the team to results.
Scott Arfield wouldn’t be drawn on the question of a longer term appointment but insists the interim boss has done himself no harm.
Asked the question on Sky Sports, the Gers hero said: “I am not the chairman of Glasgow Rangers so I can’t put myself in there. But I don’t think he’s done himself any harm whatsoever.”
After it was flipped back onto Chris Sutton, the ex-Celtic striker joked: “No. Well from the Celtic point of view I would, yeah.”
Ferguson exceeding Rangers expectations
Arfield insists Ferguson has surpassed what was expected him and has also brought more than just good results.
He added: “I think that’s why Barry Ferguson is in there. There was so much disillusion within the fan base. There was no relatability and connection from the management to the stands to the players. It was all a but muddled out.
“He’s now exceeded expectations. His remit before he got here was obviously to try and get a result in this game and to progress as far as they can in Europe.”
