Big-hearted Rangers star Scott Arfield is raffling his match-worn 150th anniversary kit to one lucky supporter as he looks to raise money for charity.

The former Canada international has also got the entire Rangers squad to sign the jersey, with one lucky fan set to win it in the coming weeks.

All you have to do is donate a minimum of £5m to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity – a noble cause indeed – via the midfielder’s Just Giving account HERE. At the time of writing donations are closing on on £5000.

Everyone who donates will be entered into a special prize draw with the winner being selected at random. The competition closes on 24th April this year.

Scott Arfield has previous for this sort of thing and routinely auctions off special edition Rangers shirts, such as those worn on Remembrance Sunday.

“Have you ever wanted to own an iconic piece of memorabilia?” writes Scott Arfield on the Just Giving page.

“Here is your chance to win a signed rangers 150th anniversary strip worn on Sunday 20/03/22 against Dundee fc and signed by the full squad at the current champions of the SPFL.

“Simply donate a minimum of £5 to be in with a chance winning.

“The winner will be selected at random and the draw will close on 24/04/22.

“Let’s raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity and all the work they do to give our families the best chance of creating as many memories with our loved ones as we can.

“Tell as many people as possible, like & keep sharing!!

“Thank you very much in advance.”

Scott Arfield also went on to quote popular Ricky Gervais show Afterlife with a touching comment about the work done by nurses.

“There are angels, by the way.

“They wear nurse’s uniforms, and work hard to pay the rent on their houses. Some work for charities because they can’t look the other way.

“But whatever they look like – they all save lives.”

Meanwhile, Scott Arfield may well rue hanging up his Canada boots after the nation qualified for the World Cup.
