Kenny Miller has raved about Rangers forward Fashion Sakala on BBC Radio Scotland while watching him in action against Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.

The former Rangers striker was impressed by the goal that Sakala scored for Michael Beale’s side in the 46th minute.

The BBC Sport pundit was amazed by the strength that the 26-year-old Zambia international forward showed while scoring his goal.

Rangers won the match against Motherwell to maintain their chances of winning the Scottish Premiership title this season.

Praise for Fashion Sakala for Rangers v Motherwell

Miller said: “Perfect start to the second half for Rangers and it’s wonderfully worked goal.

“A familiar source in James Tavernier’s right boot.

“Fashion Sakala, given his size, is very, very strong in the air. He rises above his man at the back post and bullets the ball past Liam Kelly.”

Big win for Rangers

Rangers did not always have it easy against Motherwell and had to come from behind to win the Scottish Premiership match.

The Gers went behind in the third minute.

Defensively Rangers were not great, and that is something that Beale has to solve next season if the Gers are to beat Celtic to win the Scottish Premiership title.

As for now, the win is a big one for Rangers.

The Gers are now six points behind leaders Celtic, who have played 28 games.

Now, many will say that the title race is already over, but you just never know.

Celtic could yet slip up, and that could open the door for Rangers.
